I currently help out with the MODIS
site, updating the Image of the Day
feature. MODIS is an instrument on both the Aqua and Terra satellites.
The following are all older projects dated 2003 and earlier, so some of the info
might be out of date.
These are the Lab for
Terrestrial Physics annual reports for 2001, 2002, and 2003. I designed the
covers, and did all the organization, layout, and was responsible for getting
them printed. The reports were about 160-225 pages long!

This is a general interest site for the MOLA instrument. This is the 2nd look for this site - it
had to be redesigned to fit the new NASA look and feel. I also wrote up the
MOLA Discovery articles.

| I designed this site for the Grow Smart
education project. |

This is a website I designed for the GLAS instrument on the ICESat. |
The Earth as Art exhibit has been featured on CNN,
CBS
News Online, MSNBC,
and slashdot.org.
It was also
featured on the December 9, 2002 "Kids Post" section of The Washington
Post!

This is the web site I did for the
Lab for Terrestrial
Physics
Outreach &
Education site. It's no longer live.

"The Adventures of Amelia
the
Pigeon" is an interactive Web site that was developed to teach
children
in grades K-4 about
remote sensing and change over time.
Ginger Butcher is the project lead on this, I helped out with
the initial research and design. |

This is an advertisement poster I did for this project - it shows change
over
time in Battery Park. Click on the thumbnail for a larger image. |

In April 2000, I started working on the Echo the Bat project. We have used
Echo as a test bed for research on Web Accessibility issues. Our summer
intern Sara Skroh helped me with the research on assitive technologies
(like screenreaders) and Sara, Ginger Butcher, and I gave a presentation
to the Goddard Web Masters group on our findings.
I also worked on the Electromagnetic
Spectrum section on the Echo feature.
